Day 15
TACKLE
Ephesians 4:15
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

TACKLE is the moment of fearless engagement the instant when a player decides, “This cannot go any further.” In football, a tackle is not hesitation but commitment, timing, precision, and courage. In life, God calls us into that same boldness: to confront what threatens our purpose, to deal with challenges head-on, and to take decisive action against anything that tries to steal our destiny. You do not avoid the battle; you tackle it.
A good tackle begins with the right stance. A player positions themselves firmly, reading the flow of the game and anticipating danger. In your journey, spiritual awareness works the same way. You watch over your thoughts, your relationships, your habits, and your heart. You refuse to let small issues grow into giants. “Be alert and of sober mind” (1 Peter 5:8).
Tackling requires bold commitment. Once a defender goes in, there is no half-hearted attempt. Likewise, life demands full-hearted action addressing problems directly, correcting course, asking for help, forgiving deeply, and standing for truth even when it costs. God empowers you to confront what others fear. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Every tackle involves risk. You might miss, stumble, or misjudge, but champions don’t stop because of the fear of getting it wrong. In life, tackling challenges, whether financial, emotional, spiritual, or relational, means accepting that progress often comes through courage, not comfort. Even if you fall, you rise, stronger and wiser. “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again” (Proverbs 24:16).
A precise tackle changes momentum. It stops the enemy’s advance and gives your team possession and strength. In the same way, tackling issues early shifts spiritual momentum. You tackle fear with faith. You tackle anxiety with prayer. You tackle temptation with truth. You tackle discouragement with God’s promises. Every bold stand pushes back darkness and brings you closer to breakthrough. “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
A great tackle is also a moment of protection. Defenders throw themselves into challenges to protect their team. In life, you tackle problems not only for yourself, but for your family, your church, your friends, and those God entrusted to you. Your courage becomes their covering. “Carry each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2).
And ultimately, TACKLE is about refusing to let anything stand between you and your Godgiven destiny. You face obstacles, address weaknesses, correct your path, and keep advancing in the strength of Christ. Like Paul, you confront every challenge with determination, saying, “I press on toward the goal.” (Philippians 3:14).
TACKLE with courage, TACKLE with wisdom, TACKLE with faith. Because every challenge you confront head-on becomes a victo-ry in the making and every bold step strengthens the journey God has set before you.
